Υπάρχει και η παρακάτω, προγενέστερη, εκτέλεση του κομματιού (1934) υπό τον τίτλο Ταταυλιανό χασάπικο, με δύο κιθάρες (στην πρώτη κιθάρα ο Περιστέρης), σε αρκετά διαφορετικό τέμπο.
There is also an earlier recording of the song (1934) under the title Tatavliano chasapiko**, played with two guitars (Spiros peristeris on the lead guitar), on a considerably different tempo.
Το κομμάτι αποτελείται από τρεις κύκλους, όπου κάθε κύκλος αποτελείται από τρία μέρη A, B, C, με δομή ABBCBB. Στην κατάληξη του τρίτου κύκλου παίζεται για φινάλε το μέρος B μια ακόμη φορά.

The song consists of three cycles, each one comprised by three parts A, B, C in the form ABBCBB. At the end of the third cycle, part B is played once more as the finale.
