Η εκδοχή μου από το τραγούδι του Μανώλη Χιώτη Ο πασατέμπος. Επέλεξα την πιο γνωστή ηχογράφηση του τραγουδιού (1946), αυτήν με τους Ιωάννα Γεωργακοπούλου και Στέλιο Περπινιάδη. Στην ηχογράφηση αυτή η σολιστική μελωδία παίζεται στην κιθάρα.
My version of Manolis Chiotis' song O pasatempos*. I chose the more known recording of the song (1946), the one with the singers Ioanna Georgakopoulou and Stelios Perpiniadis. In this recording the solo melody is played on guitar.
Υπάρχουν άλλες δύο ηχογραφήσεις. Η μία είναι με τον Μανώλη Χιώτη και τον Στέλιο Περπινιάδη, πάλι το 1946. Η άλλη είναι με την Ρόζα Εσκενάζυ και τον Ζαχαρία Κασιμάτη. Η ηχογράφηση αυτή είναι χρονολογικά η πρώτη, το 1939, αλλά κυκλοφόρησε επίσης το 1946.
There are two more recordings. One is with Manolis Chiotis and Stelios Perpiniadis in vocals, also in 1946. The other is with Roza Eskenazy and Zacharias Kasimatis in vocals. This is is the first recording of the song, in 1939, but it was released also in 1946.
* Passatempo in Italian, meaning "hobby", "passing the time". The word is also used in Greek for the (edible) pumpkin or sunflower seeds.
